Red Clover (Flos Trifolium pratense), from the Papilionaceae family is used to combat malignant tumors, particularly of the prostate and breast. 2. Taheebo as cancer herbs
Taheebo, also called Pau D'Arco, Lapacho, or Tabebuia impestiginosa, from the Rubiaceae family, is said to have anti-tumor/anti-cancer properties. This anti-cancer property is found particularly from its two active compounds: beta-lapachone and lapachol. It is used in Central and South America in treating cancer and found to have positive results, although its effective dosage is considered toxic.
3. Mistletoe as cancer herbs
Misteltoe (Viscum alba), from the Loranthaceae family, is said to contain anti-tumor proteins. In researches mostly done in Germany, it was found to have antineoplastic activity, which means that it can possibly inhibit the spread of tumor cells and also blocks the development of neoplasms that may become cancerous.
